Dr. Mahan is frequently retained as a forensic radiology expert witness for both plaintiff and defense. He is one of the top expert witnesses in the state and has been instrumental in numerous radiology cases that include medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury. Dr. Mahan is available for expert radiology consultation, review of studies, medical records, and depositions, as well as providing deposition and trial testimony. His specialty areas include second opinion reporting. Dr. Sean M. Mahan, MD, is a 1991-graduate of the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, VA. His postgraduate training includes his internship and diagnostic radiology residency served at the same educational venue, the Medical College of Virginia (1991-1995). He continued with a fellowship at the Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Mahan attained board certification in radiology with the American Board of Urology.
